I'm trying to work a "difficulty" into every workout and I'm also trying not to get discouraged! I've attempted two muscle ups this week and two one legged squats--those are some of the toughest movements there are!

So your Xfit strength program this week consists of 0 muscle ups combined with 0 1 legged squats and 0 HSPUs. That's great. Why don't you try adding 0 deadlifts at 800 pounds and 0 backflips to that.

I'm going to take a video of me trying to OHS the 45 pound bar today, but don't expect me to post it--I already know I can't go down all the way. I just want to measure progress, that's part of the Crossfit method.

The guy at the fitness store was trying to sell me on one that was way too heavy. I am pretty sure he gets paid on commission and the kettlebells were $2.00 per pound so he wanted to get as much money as possible. But I showed him! I couuld barely budge the one he was recommending and when I asked him how that was going to help me he stammered a bit and then suggested one half that weight. I kind of felt like I "alpha"'d him by not lifting that heavy weight and making him lose commission--but I just wanted something practical to use.
